As a Mammography Technologist, you will perform a variety of mammographic examinations that often require independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative to best demonstrate the anatomy of interest. We are looking for someone to join our team that works hard to support each other where the patients are the center of all we do. In this role: You will operate mammography equipment and components to perform routine and specialized mammograms to include screening, diagnostic, and magnification views. You will perform complex Ecklund, tangential, exaggerated views, etc You will be required to perform needle localizations, ductograms and perform stereotactic biopsies and bone densitometry procedures. You will be responsible to introduce the basics of mammography to student Technologists. You will demonstrate the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient's needs. You will function as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. What qualifications you will need: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (ARRT-R) Radiography Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a full-service hospital with 318+ patient beds. Our hospital is the largest medical facility in the region. We serve southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, and parts of Montana. Our facility has an ER, a Level II Trauma Center, a Level 1 ICU (one of two in Idaho), and the only Burn Center in the state of Idaho. We have the region's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for critically ill children. Our 74-bed Behavioral Health Center offers inpatient and outpatient mental health care for adolescents and adults.
