Denver Tech Center, CO (on-site position) Corporate office setting. Only local Denver Metro Candidates will be reviewed/accepted. We do not offer Visa sponsorships or relocation packages. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for ensuring proper review, timely processing, and communication of all disbursements in accordance with Millennium Hotel's policies and procedures. Primary Responsibilities: Analyze and maintain all vendor communication and correspondence, including reviewing and processing invoices and disbursements, preparing various reports, monitoring critical payment lists, verifying vendor statements, etc. Monitor and ensure compliance with Millennium Hotel's approval levels, expense reporting procedures, employee relocation disbursements, expense dictionary usage, and other policies and procedures as required. Maintain purchase order systems, which include a listing of open POs for goods received but not invoiced, filing, notification of PO discrepancies, matching invoices to packing slips/POs as necessary, etc. Reconciliation of food and beverage purchases. Reconciliation of receiving records with the appropriate personnel every week. Ensure compliance with applicable state tax regulations. Be aware of rebate and payment program requirements to ensure compliance. Keep the supervisor informed of unusual events and deviations from policies or procedures. Secondary Responsibilities: Assist with ad-hoc projects. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. Experience with Great Plains and/or D365 is a must. At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field is preferred. College coursework in related fields is helpful. Understand and utilize basic computer equipment and applications, including word processing and spreadsheet applications. Flexible and long hours are sometimes required. Sedentary work Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times. Must effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
