Summary

PROCUREMENT CONTRACT ANALYST

Position Highlights:

The Procurement Contract Analyst builds/maintains ongoing relationships between the Center, internal customers and external vendors; ensuring that these relationships are maintained with the department and Center's best interest in mind. This position requires a large amount of interaction with internal/external customers. The Procurement Contract Analyst will oversee and evaluate procurement contracts, ensuring they adhere to legal and regulatory terms and conditions while maximizing performance. This role involves close collaboration with procurement, VAT, legal, and vendor management teams to enhance strategic sourcing and achieve cost-effective solutions. The analyst will be crucial in negotiating and formalizing agreements for goods and services needed by the organization, assist with competitive bidding, and conduct market research to ensure optimal value. Additionally, they will support VAT in sourcing activities and contribute to financial decision-making. The role includes working with our Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) representative, external advisory services (e.g., Gartner, TractManager), and the Supplier Diversity Program Manager to identify opportunities for compliance, savings, and other departmental benefits. Responsibilities:

Develop, review, and negotiate procurement contracts, including service agreements, purchase orders, and vendor agreements. Ensure all contracts are compliant with organizational policies and legal requirements. Responsible to submit contract reviews in coordination with Legal Contract's team. Will attend routine Contract Team Meetings; discuss current issues, expiring contracts, new opportunities. Will support analytical needs for contracts or projects within the customer groups. Responsible for negotiating with vendors and identifying contract opportunities, as well as contract compliance. Act as a liaison between the organization and its suppliers, addressing any issues or disputes that arise. Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements or changes as needed. Continuously assess and improve procurement processes and contract management practices. Implement best practices and streamline workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness Reconciles all P-Card transactions across the organization and validates purchases were made within the policy, ADM-P029. Provide monthly reports for audit. Actively engaging with customer groups, reviewing contract compliance and validating that request for purchases across the organization have gone through the appropriate approvals. Assist with Supplier Diversity Program efforts. Work closely with internal stakeholders, including: legal, finance, and operations teams, to support procurement strategies and achieve organizational goals. Responsible for which vendors to pursue continuing doing business with; which new vendors should be considered for utilization and provide strategical insight on contract terms during negotiations with vendors. Responsible to manage pricing, submitting all updated prices into the ERP system, item adds, and resolve invoice discrepancies. Credentials and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree - Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain or other related field Minimum of four (4) years experience in healthcare environment having direct interaction with healthcare providers, patients and/or their families; directly involved in business administration/support within a healthcare facility, property management, educational facility or similar business. Experience with Group Purchasing Organizations. OR

Associate's degree with an additional two (2) years of relevant Healthcare Supply Chain experience in procurement, supply chain and/or vendor management plus the four (4) years (for a total of 6 years) experience may be considered OR

High School Diploma with an additional four (4) years of relevant Healthcare Supply Chain experience in procurement, supply chain and/or vendor management plus the four (4) years (for a total of 8 years) experience may be considered
