Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RCIS for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring BLS and ACLS certifications and at least one year of recent cath lab experience.
Responsibilities Work in a Cardiac Catheterization LabDay shifts, 8 hours per day, 5 days per weekPatient population consists of adults requiring diagnostic and interventional cardiac proceduresProcedures include diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker and defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operations, and electrophysiology studiesEPIC charting system is used, prior experience preferredMay be required to float to any CommonSpirit location within a 60-mile radius, potentially performing duties outside of original job requirementsAssist physicians in specialized cardiovascular procedures and take an active role in acute MI interventionsDocument patient status and respond appropriately to ensure quality patient outcomesActively participate in continual learning, departmental meetings, and performance improvement activitiesTroubleshoot equipment and adapt to changing patient and departmental needsCollaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary cardiac care teamMust be able to interact with patients of varying ages and levels of consciousnessTravelers may be assigned for up to one year before a required 30-60 day breakRTO (requested time off) must be declared prior to consideration and cannot be requested after offer
