The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a full-time Cleaner to join our team at Yavapai Hotel in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Cleaner, you will be key member of the housekeeping team helping to create great guest experience by keeping the property clean and sanitized.

Pay

$14.70 - $14.70 / hour

What will you do?

Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the interior and exterior surfaces of the building including floors, walls, ceilings, windows, doors, and trash removal.

Dust and polish furniture and fixtures; vacuum floors.

Clean and maintain public and team member restrooms including toilets, sinks and showers.

Maintain work equipment and well-organized work areas.

Respond to cleaning service requests timely.

More about you

No high school diploma or GED required.

Six months' experience in custodial and related services preferred.

Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions.

Must be able to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Physical requirements

This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Must have ability to reach above head level with constant standing, bending, twisting, grasping.

May be required to work twelve to fifty feet (or more) above the ground on ladders or lift.

Consistent exposure chemicals to clean and sanitize.

Exposure to outdoor weather conditions including, heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow.
