Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise color-separated production art that aligns with packaging die lines and print specifications. You will provide technical instructions and guidance to customers, ensuring their packaging art meets all necessary specifications. Additionally, you will prepare high-resolution, color-managed proofs for customer approval and make necessary modifications to art files.
Essential Functions Electronically construct color-separated production art that is accurate to packaging die lines and print specifications. Deliver technical instruction and guidance to customers to assist in the preparation of their packaging art. Examine customer-provided art to ensure print and packaging specifications are met. Prepare high-resolution, color-managed proofs for customers' final approval. Modify art files as needed to meet customer and production specifications. Maintain organized graphic files and document critical steps of each job. Manage customer expectations regarding print outcomes and timing. Participate in project calls to share and receive information related to graphic jobs. Other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications
Requirements:
Highly proficient with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Deep understanding of printing processes and color separations. Experience with folded cartons, paper cups, containers, and packaging is a plus. Strong analytical and creative thinking skills to interpret provided art files. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork. Ability to distinguish color variance and solve problems efficiently. Willingness to work extended hours if needed. Strong organizational skills. Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Design, Imaging Technologies, or a related field. Environment:
Primarily office-based with controlled climate conditions. Hybrid work environment that mixes in-office and remote work to offer flexibility and support to employees. In-office hours are set by group Manager.
