THE JOB
The Design Lead plays a vital role in creating intuitive, accessible, and impactful digital experiences across various platforms. This position combines strong interaction design skills with user research, systems thinking, and strategic problem-solving. A Design Lead takes responsibility for the entire experience, from discovery to delivery, making sure each touchpoint is thoughtful, efficient, and aligned with both business goals and user needs. This role is best suited for designers who lead by example and are eager to solve complex problems collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL: Lead the design of user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for key products and features. Translate user research, analytics, and requirements into clear, effective experience design solutions. Collaborate with product managers, developers, visual designers, and stakeholders to define, design, and deliver seamless user experiences. Conduct or contribute to user testing, research analysis, and usability audits. Present UX strategy and design decisions to internal teams and stakeholders with clarity and rationale. Ensure designs align with established design systems, while identifying opportunities to evolve or extend UX patterns. Provide feedback to peers and junior designers, helping improve overall team quality and coherence. Stay current with UX best practices, tools, accessibility standards, and emerging trends. AS FOR EXPERIENCE, YOU NEED:
Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Product Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5-7 years of professional experience in UX or product design roles. Portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process, system-level thinking, and elegant user interfaces. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Proficiency in UX and design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or Miro. Strong grasp of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture. Experience conducting or applying insights from user research and usability testing. Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design, accessibility (WCAG), and component-based systems. Clear communication and storytelling skills to articulate design solutions and rationales. Strong collaboration and critique skills across design, product, and engineering functions. DEPARTMENT ORG

This role reports to the UX Design Lead, Associate Creative Director, or Creative Director (UX). Collaboration:
Collaborates with Product Managers and Developers, UI/Visual Designers and Copywriters, Content Strategists and User Researchers, QA and Accessibility teams. Mentorship:
May mentor Junior Designers or Design Interns.
