We're looking for a highly skilled
Field Service Technician
who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys the challenge of working on advanced electrical systems. In this role, you'll be a key contributor to field operations, working hands-on with power equipment ranging from 480V up to 500kV. You'll also be part of a collaborative, safety-focused culture where no two days are the same - whether you're troubleshooting a relay, performing start-up testing, or responding to an emergency call. Key Responsibilities: Perform field testing, troubleshooting, start-up, and maintenance on low, medium, and high-voltage electrical systems (up to 500kV) Conduct diagnostic testing on power and instrument transformers (Doble, TTR, insulation resistance, etc.) Perform testing on cable systems including VLF, Tan Delta, DC Hipot, and power factor testing Calibrate and test protective relays - both electro-mechanical and microprocessor-based Troubleshoot and test switchgear, circuit breakers, and automatic transfer switches Rotate into emergency on-call duty and respond promptly to customer needs Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and internal teams Adhere to all electrical safety standards and promote a strong safety culture on-site Support team success by sharing technical knowledge and assisting colleagues as needed You're an experienced field technician with 5+ years in power systems testing and troubleshooting. You've worked with high-voltage equipment, know how to handle relay systems, and take pride in delivering quality work safely and efficiently. You're adaptable, self-directed, and eager to grow within a company that values technical depth and field leadership.
