The Graphic Designer plays an integral role in the responding of proposals for advisory, development, and management of sports, recreation, and events centers as provided by The Sports Facilities Companies across the country. This position works within the business development department with a focus on creating compelling proposal documents custom to each service SFC provides. Work is collaborative, document-focused, and ready-to-scale.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE INCLUDING BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Create original/update existing collateral, and prepare presentation documents for RFPs, proposals, and sales materials
Develop design concepts, graphics, and layouts based on project briefs and brand guidelines
Collaborate with SFC Business Development Team and Sales Managers in Support Center
Create and execute presentations for team members
Leverage, follow, and help innovate internal processes and procedures, project management software, and department SOPs
Occasional copywriting, proofing, and editing for sales/marketing materials
Strategic planning, understand the goal of our design and proposal deliverables, utilize your creative strengths to add to or support the RFP strategy for each project
Organize and maintain a system of files, digital assets, and support materials
Provide creative direction or input for various other projects - proposal production, product library, sales materials/presentation, and video production
Other tasks as assigned by leadership
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent experience preferred
Experienced graphic designer with attention to detail, strong layout skills, and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Able to self-manage to meet deadlines, communicate pro-actively, and collaborate
Self-starter and team player who embraces both individual and department goals
Expert level command Adobe Creative Suite, primarily InDesign: Illustrator, Photoshop, Bridge, and Video editing are a plus
Collaborative and able to develop interpersonal working relationships with senior leadership and support staff
Ability to find solutions, cut through clutter, and find a 'win' in any situation
Amiable, humble, and hungry to take on the next adventure
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must be able to lift 20 pounds waist high
Will be required to sit for extended periods of time operating a computer
Office environment has intermittent noise
