Join the dynamic manufacturing team at Sherwin-Williams as a vital member of our Maintenance team! As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our production and facility equipment operates smoothly and meets our production goals. You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various types of equipment, including dryers, chillers, HVAC systems, and more. Your efforts will contribute to a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
Work Schedule: 12-Hour day shift; 6:00 A.M. - 6:30 P.M. (36 hours: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday; 48 hours: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday).
This role is eligible for performance-based bonuses, which are subject to the company's terms.
As a Maintenance Technician, your tasks will include operating heavy machinery and maintaining access to important company information and materials. Given the nature of the work, a review of your criminal history is required to ensure workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance inspections and servicing of equipment. Quickly and efficiently repair broken machines and equipment. Diagnose and identify causes of unexpected machine breakdowns. Record and report on damaged or worn parts. Order and install necessary replacement parts. Assist with electrical projects and minor electrical repairs. Support pipe fitting tasks and install equipment as needed. Maintain building equipment including HVAC, lighting, water, and sewer systems. Document maintenance activities as required. Organize and inventory shop areas, tools, and parts. Coordinate maintenance schedules with management. Continuously improve technical skills through training. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years old. Must be legally authorized to work without requiring sponsorship. At least one (1) year experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing or distribution setting. Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) years of experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Relevant industrial, electrical, or welding certifications. Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC), preferably for at least one (1) year.
