Compensation: Flat rate of $175 per weekend Additional hourly rate of $19.00 - $23.00 for any shifts filled during the weekend As an On-Call Home Care Aide, you will provide personalized care and support services to seniors, allowing them to thrive in a comfortable home environment. Working under the supervision of a licensed nurse, you will engage in various tasks that align with the Department of Health's guidelines for home health aides. Part-time positions are available, and we welcome you to join our compassionate team. Requirements: Must hold a valid Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) certification Willingness to work in clients' private homes Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle Ability to work with diverse clients, including those who smoke or have pets Availability from Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 8:00 AM on alternate weekends Qualifications: Completion of a New York State Department of Health approved Home Health Aide training program Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English to ensure effective communication Dependable and compassionate demeanor Current driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of auto insurance required Previous experience in home health care preferred Ability to travel within North East Monroe County (areas include Pittsford, Webster, Fairport, Penfield, and East Rochester) Physical capability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach Responsible for responding to communications within an hour during on-call weekends Willingness to accept shifts during the on-call weekend Deliver compassionate care to clients in their homes Assist with daily living activities and personal care Ensure clients' safety and comfort at all times Primary Responsibilities: Respond promptly to calls, texts, and emails within an hour during on-call weekends Accept shifts during on-call weekends as assigned Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs Provide compassionate in-home care to clients Assist clients with bathing, personal care, and dressing Monitor any changes in clients' mental and physical conditions Perform light housekeeping as needed Help clients with self-administered medications Take and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and input/output Engage in additional permissible tasks as circumstances allow Maintain and protect client confidentiality in all situations We are proud to offer our caregivers: Paid training opportunities Competitive pay rates Flexible scheduling - part-time available Immediate openings with flexible start dates A supportive team and office staff Referral bonuses Matching IRA Mileage reimbursement Necessary supplies An opportunity to make a positive impact in the community!
