As Maintenance Technician I, you'll work with a team of technicians to perform a variety of tasks, including day to day maintenance and operations of the HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems for our headquarters building. As you grow in your career, you'll gain knowledge of building operations and HVAC systems and a focus on safety will bring success in this role!

Responsibilities/Expectations:

Operates, maintains, and repairs mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other related equipment to ensure its safe and efficient operation

Responds to tenant requests in a courteous and efficient manner and report unresolved issues to Foreman/Lead

Takes readings on equipment regularly, analyzes readings, and makes adjustments to equipment as needed

Assists with maintenance and operation of chillers, boilers cooling towers, and related equipment

Solves problems with building fire and energy management systems

Inspects and tests elevators, fire pumps, generators, carbon monoxide sensors, and other facility equipment

Other duties as assigned

Education/Years of Experience:

Required: High School Diploma/GED and six (6) month's related experience or an Associate's/Technical school degree

Physical and Environment Work Requirements:

The ability to:

Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces

Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed

Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time

Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)

Use hand tools

Shift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:

Must be able to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holiday as needed

Examples of rotating shifts include the following:

Weekends: 7pm -7am and Thurs. and Fri. 3pm - 11pm

Weekends: 7am-7pm and Mon and Tues 3pm - 11pm

Mon. - Fri.: 7am-3pm, 3pm - 11pm, 11pm - 7am

May be required to work overtime

Other Requirements:

Must obtain and maintain one of the following: Mechanical journeyman license with the State of Oklahoma or a State boiler license and first-class ltd. engineer's license

Must possess valid State Driver's License and clean driving record

Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority

Needs basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills

Preferred: Mechanical journeyman or engineers' license

Preferred: EPA refrigerant certification
