As a

Lead Fire Alarm/Security Field Service Technician

here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for providing technical expertise and facilitating in the field service operations of our Building Automation business. You will guide a team of technicians, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to our customers. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, both remotely and on-site, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer needs. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the success of our field service operations and the satisfaction of our customers. Your technical expertise, guidance, and dedication to customer service will contribute to the growth and success of our Building Automation business.

You will report directly to our Field Service Supervisor.

**Must reside within a 60 mile radius of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Guide and manage a team of field service technicians to ensure efficient and effective service delivery

Conducting regular inspections and testing of fire alarm/security systems to ensure proper functionality

Troubleshooting and resolving issues with fire alarm/security systems, including diagnosing and repairing faulty components

Collaborating with clients and other stakeholders to address their specific fire safety needs

Providing training and support to clients on the proper use and maintenance of fire alarm/security systems

Shift: 8:00a - 5:00p Central

Must be available for on-call rotation

Due to the nature of this discipline, night work is required of all Fire Technicians

Company vehicle & Company mobile phone will be provided to travel to customer sites and communicate with customers

Travel: up to 80% Locally within Milwaukee area

YOU MUST HAVE

5+ years of proven experience in field service business, with a focus on complex technical solutions

High School Diploma or GED

Experience in installing, servicing and maintaining fire alarm/security systems

NICET certification Level 1 or above

Strong technical knowledge and expertise in relevant technologies

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Experience in project management and execution

Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships

Valid Driver's License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell

WE VALUE

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred

Military background with relevant Fire/Security experience

Additional certifications in fire safety or related areas

Knowledge of local fire codes and regulations
