Corrpro Companies is looking for a Regional Manager for our Waterworks Group.
Corrpro is a corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure. Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services and installation for water municipal projects, as well as corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, and gas utilities. Corrpro is a subsidiary of Azuria Water Solutions.
Lead the Waterworks team for the Western Region in the development of new business, while maintaining the existing customer base and implementing Corrpro Strategic plans
Provide direction and analysis, interpretation of customer requirements, product and service application, management of operations, cost control implementation, and other related issues necessary to manage the Western Region
Manage Operations (e.g. planning, talent development, budgeting, P&L) and business development (service line sales management, as well as development of new services and products aspects of the business
Oversee recruitment, hiring, and training of staff for the region
Establish a succession/career development program to ensure the best performers in the group have opportunities for success and advancement
Partner with Human Resources for overall performance management and employee relations strategies within group
Prepare and implement plans and operating budgets that will achieve the Company's desired level of growth and profitability for the Waterworks Division
Work with Regional Operational Teams to provide leadership, direction, and development for all members of the staff
Communicate corporate vision and policies to group staff
Merge existing systems, procedures and processes with the rest of Corrpro
Optimize cash flow of regional/group business, i.e. timely invoicing and collections
Maximize profitability of the department
Proactively partner with Senior Sales Teams on principal accounts to develop new customers and maintain favorable relationships with existing customers
Prepare and review proposals in cooperation with operations management and Corrpro sales team
Based on customer feedback, provide guidance to Waterworks and other department managers to facilitate continuous improvement
Regular involvement in key trade and industry associations
Develop and oversee safety and technical training programs for all field staff
Oversee subcontractor relationships to maintain quality workmanship and profitability
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business preferred
7 years of operational management and business development experience
Experienced with Safety Management, Contract Negotiation, P&L Management, Sales and Estimating
Experience in the service business within water markets
Experience working on corrosion control or cathodic protection projects preferred
Strong Leadership and Interpersonal skills with experience successfully leading and developing Field Technicians and subcontractors
Must be a motivated, self-starter able to take initiative and identify what must be done without day-to-day guidance
Ability to do regional travel 30% of the time
