The Human Resources Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting the HR department and employees in their daily functions, encompassing payroll, employee relations, benefits administration, and talent acquisition. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with 3–5 years of HR experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service aligned with Superior’s values. Experience with UKG Ready is required. Key Responsibilities Support HRIS and payroll functions, including new hire setup, compensation changes, deductions, and benefits updates. Conduct new hire onboarding, reference checks, and orientation. Administer benefits including enrollment, changes, terminations, and vendor communications; assist with open enrollment and benefits communications. Maintain compliance with employment laws (EEO, VETS, FMLA, etc.) and internal policies. Serve as a key point of contact for employee questions related to policies, procedures, benefits, and payroll. Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and data within UKG Ready Administer and track the company’s FMLA program. Review benefit invoices; resolve discrepancies as needed. Ensure HR practices support a safe, inclusive, and productive workplace. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in HR preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of generalist experience in a similar work environment UKG Ready (formerly Kronos Workforce Ready) system experience required. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP preferred Candidates must be available to work on-site, five days a week, as this is a position that requires daily in-office attendance.
