SUMMARY
:
The QC Receiving Inspector is responsible for inspecting incoming components and finished goods. The ideal candidate has knowledge of FDA/cGMP guidelines, basic math and writing skills, and strong communication abilities.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:15pm
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
0-2 years experience in related field Computer literate in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Knowledge of FDA/cGMP guidelines a plus Basic Writing and Math skills Strong verbal communication skills Fluent in English POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare incoming paperwork Perform inspection for incoming components and finished goods as per ANSI standards, physical standards and PLD/Customer requirements Pull retain samples for inspected material as per procedures Create and complete inspection paperwork and forward to secondary inspection (if required) or Supervisor Prepare NCMRs for rejected material at incoming as well as maintain and process NCMRs created within Westbury facility Handles product material within QC receiving area Perform annual retain sample inspections Perform stock checks for quality reasons as required Maintain inspection and sampling room log books Inspect and disposition returned product Perform investigations on inventory variance as required Perform any additional tasks assigned by Supervisor or Manager
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employees in this class are subject to regular and/or routine periods of sitting, standing, walking, stooping, and climbing, visual acuity to monitor and/or read, communicating orally with Company management, peers and co-workers, and occasional periods of moving or lifting a minimum of 50 pounds. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with noise levels varying from moderate to loud depending upon machinery usage.
Hourly Rate: $18.00/hr
