What You’ll Be Doing:
Conduct detailed inspections
using precision measuring tools ( micrometers, calipers, CMMs ).
Interpret design drawings & specifications
to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Perform raw material inspections
and verify conformance.
Inspect first-piece and in-process production
to maintain high-quality standards.
Approve finished products
by confirming specifications, performing visual & measurement tests, and ensuring rework is completed correctly.
Document inspection results
accurately in reports and logs.
Collaborate with production teams
to address non-conformances and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 & AS9100
standards (FAIRS knowledge a plus).
Assist with mechanical gauge calibration
(experience a plus).

Requirements:
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in quality inspection
within metal fabrication, machining, or related manufacturing industries.
Proficiency in GD&T
(Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and its applications.
Ability to use precision hand tools
(micrometers, calipers, etc.).
Familiarity with CMMs
(experience is a plus).
Strong attention to detail & problem-solving skills
with a sense of urgency.
Ability to work independently & in a team-oriented environment
with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to
sit or stand for extended periods
and
lift up to 50 lbs .
