Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with ARRT certification and 3-D mammography experience for a Day shift contract.
Responsibilities Work in an imaging center setting in the mammography departmentDay shifts, Monday through Thursday from 7:15am to 4:30pm and Friday from 7:15am to 12:15pmFull-time, 40 hours per weekContract options between 13 and 26 weeksRequired to float to other units or campuses as needed within competencyPatient population includes individuals receiving screening and diagnostic mammogramsProcedures performed include 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, fine needle aspirations, needle localizations, screening mammograms, and stereotactic biopsiesUses Epic EMR, with at least one year of Epic experience requiredMust work two of the three main holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New YearNo time off allowed during the week between Christmas and New Year'sPre-assignment testing and online training modules must be completed before startOrientation sessions are held weekly on MondaysCandidates must live more than 100 miles from any facility in the system to be eligible, with bill rate reductions for those living between 90 and 99.9 milesCandidates may be floated based on clinical expertise and census needsAdherence to strict isolation precautions may be required
