Job DescriptionUnder the direction of a registered pharmacist and/or the pharmacy management team, the Lead Pharmacy Technician is responsible for the day-to-day management of the distribution area during the shift, including: product preparation, inventory management and directing workflow. Serves as the primary trainer for staff working in the distribution area. Works in collaboration with the pharmacy management team and day staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of medications and optimal shift workflow. Will provide ample and timely feedback to the pharmacy management team.Salary Range:$25 - $35 an hourThe referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.Job RequirementsEducation: High School Graduate or GED requiredExperience: At least three years of hospital pharmacy experience or supervisory experience as a pharmacy technician, 3-5 years preferred;License/Certification Required: Must be board certified by PTCB upon hire or transfer into the Tech V roleSkills: Supervisory skills, some computer use/comfort level is preferred; basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
