This role requires a current MT license and a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Candidates must also possess phlebotomy training. The position primarily involves day shifts, consisting of four 10-hour shifts, with scheduling that may alternate based on departmental needs. Additionally, there may be a requirement for variable overnight coverage. Key Responsibilities: - Perform high-quality laboratory testing and analysis in accordance with established protocols.- Ensure accurate test results by following standard operating procedures and adhering to quality control measures.- Conduct phlebotomy, including blood specimen collection, ensuring patient comfort and safety.- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate results that inform patient care.- Maintain laboratory equipment and assist in troubleshooting issues as they arise.- Stay updated with advancements in laboratory technologies and procedures. Qualifications: - Current MT license.- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist.- Completion of phlebotomy training.- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality patient care.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
