Job Summary

Service Deli Clerks are responsible for preparing, slicing, wrapping, weighing, pricing, and merchandising the department's deli products. Deli products include deli meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, dips, gourmet and hot case items. They inform customers about our deli products and services and help increase sales by handing out food samples and by recommending additional items to customers. They work with equipment like fryers, slicers and use store intercoms to announce special promotions and weekly specials.

Our goal is to be the premier deli in Tooele County, and we are looking for hard working, talented people that can add to this vision.

Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. High school education required. Must be able to frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Maintain adequate and appropriate department records at all times. Requires Food Handlers Permit. Must be willing to work any shift during hours of operation: 5:00am-10:00pm, shifts will range from 5hrs to 10hrs depending on business need. Must be willing to work holidays and weekends.
