The Vendor Analysis Team

Senior Specialist

is focused on building strategic vendor relationships by interfacing with non-primary vendors, taking ownership of setting and leading due diligence meetings, remediating vendor service escalations among all vendors, and cascading information within the team and greater CAPTRUST. The Senior Specialist will also work with Financial Advisors, client services professionals, and occasionally directly with clients to fulfill service provider fee benchmarking and RFP projects. Responsibilities

Serve as the point of contact for non-primary vendor relationships including record keepers, third-party administrators, trustees, and custodians. Responsible for leading interactions, due diligence meetings, relationship building, and information sharing on product updates/roadmap. Act as the point of contact for service escalations, managing the remediation process and providing updates to Lead/Advisor. Analyze and benchmark service provider fees for institutional clients/prospects. Scope and fulfill service provider RFP projects, leading analysis and presenting findings to advisors, clients, and prospects. Review deliverables for completeness and accuracy before sharing with clients and advisors. Maintain knowledge of the vendor landscape, including industry trends, M&A activity, and regulatory changes. Identify and implement opportunities to improve team communication, deliverables, and operations. Contribute to strategic projects at the team and firm level. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Completion of a four-year college degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting, or equivalent work experience. 8 years of relevant industry experience. Desired Qualifications/Skills

Experience with defined contribution plans, especially 401(k) and 403(b). Retirement plan/record keeping or procurement experience. Project management experience is a plus. Knowledge of ERISA guidelines and regulations. Industry certifications (e.g., FINRA Series 6, 65, 63, 7, CRPS, AIF, QKA) are a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. What can you expect from your career at CAPTRUST?
