Laser Tracker Operator

Responsibilities and Duties: Take measurements using laser trackers, articulating arms, CMM's and other metrology equipment. Make necessary adjustments to tools and fixtures using various hand tools. Population of the TIR (Tool Inspection Record) or equivalent customer provided document. Execution of required build support or QA function as dictated by the job lineup, TIR and quality plan. Assist clients, as necessary, with any customer buy-off effort. Responsible for maintaining Laser Tracker equipment utilized to perform job duties. Utilization of the document and data control procedure to initiate, maintain and complete all electronic inspection records. Conformance to all applicable QMS procedures and work instructions. Keep record of daily activities through entry of field service logs. Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work independently with written and verbal direction. Good problem-solving skills. Intermediate use of MS Office programs. Good written and verbal communication skills. Good understanding of GD&T / FT&A. Master blueprint reading skills. Qualified candidates possess:

Spend Time Bending or Twisting the Body Spend Time Climbing Ladders, Scaffolds, or Poles Spend Time Kneeling, Crouching, Stooping, or Crawling Spend Time Using Your Hands to Handle, Control, or Feel Objects, Tools, or Controls Spend Time Walking Ability to occasionally lift loads up to 50 lbs. Ability to wear PPE (when necessary) Spend Time Sitting and Standing
