POSITION SUMMARY The Creative Director is responsible for providing strategic and creative leadership to assigned projects throughout the Solid Light process. From project initiation and planning, through experience design, fabrication, and installation, they ensure all creative output upholds and elevates the Solid Light vision. The Creative Director is responsible for the individual development, coaching and mentoring of all direct reports on vision, strategy, execution and the Solid Light project approach and process. The Creative Director is responsible for developing and meeting project goals developed in tandem with the Creative Team Director and budgets as managed by the Project Manager and executive management.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:Responsible for creating project vision and executing creative solutions across content, graphic, media, and experiential environments that drive project excellence and build client success.Leads project teams to develop creative solutions that best address the client's goals and vision and adhere to standards and goals as directed by the Creative Team Director.Develops and meets project goals, in accordance with established budgets and schedules as managed by the Project Manager.Directs project Creative teams in alignment with the Solid Light process on project vision, strategy, and execution.Establishes goals and expectations for assigned direct reports for reviews and evaluations and provides feedback on a timely basis, encouraging personal and professional development, maintaining a positive collaborative work culture and staff retention.Provides leadership and inspiration throughout a project's development to create products that exceed client expectations while cultivating a culture collaboration.Responsible for directing project teams in the development and creation of 2D and 3D concepts into projects throughout Experience Design, Design Realization, Fabrication, and Installation.Responsible for directing the project teams in the creation of interactive and immersive media concepts throughout Experience Design, including concepting, treatments, visualizations, and storyboards. Responsible for directing media components throughout Design Realization, Fabrication, and Installation under the management of the Director of Media Production, including pre-production, production, post-production, and installation.Provides leadership in the presentation of Solid Light work product to clients and evaluates client response to carefully monitor its incorporation into the project.Provides creative leadership and creative solutions for the Solid Light brand/marketing, and business development as assigned by the Creative Team Director.Helps promote Solid Light and its values and contributes to reaching company strategic goals.Other duties as assigned.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in related subject or equivalent work experience and training.Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in project leadership in a design/media environment.Proficient understanding of computer applications, specifically Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as the Internet.Proficient in 3D and media software and Adobe Creative Suite.Strong sense of creativity and innovation.Ability to lead and manage a project team to develop innovative solutions to exceed client expectations.Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be an effective presenter to both internal and external audiences.Excellent leadership, teamwork, and relationship skills that foster creativity, innovation, and team health.
