Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen staff. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, including washing all dishes, utensils, cookware, and ensuring the dishwashing area is clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities: Operate dishwasher equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware. Hand-wash delicate items or those not suitable for the dishwasher. Sort, stack, and store clean dishes and kitchenware in designated areas. Remove trash and recycling from the kitchen and dish area regularly. Sweep and mop floors in the dishwashing and kitchen area. Assist with basic food prep and other kitchen tasks as needed. Follow all health and safety regulations. Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs to the kitchen manager. Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is a plus but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods. Strong attention to detail and cleanliness. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in hot, humid, and sometimes noisy conditions. Schedule:
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
