What You'll Do
Ability to pass a company road test Maintain electronic or paper logs of working hours No more than 1 moving violation in the previous 3 years No on-road preventable accidents during the past (3) years as shown on the Motor Vehicle Road (MVR); accidents are reviewed by CMC Logistics No violation for speeding excessively, 15 mph or more above the posted speed limit in previous 3 years Pass required D.O.T. and CMC Logistics drug testing programs and physicals as required by D.O.T. Performs daily Pre-Trip, Inter-Trip, and Post Trip Inspections. Use of Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) during operation of vehicle; driver will be trained accordingly Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver License required Work well with team members or independently; give and receive feedback in a constructive manner What You'll Need
Ability to operate variety of trucks (roll off, van, or flatbed) Driver must be knowledgeable in D.O.T. Regulations/Requirements Ensure vehicle is properly loaded and load secured and product is delivered safely and timely Frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs/ladders, works with chains, drops and hooks trailers, performs inspections and reaches to work with equipment throughout the entire shift Minimum 1 year roll-off trailer experience preferred Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor/trailer experience required Must be able to work outside under all weather conditions to include working in the heat and cold weather Must have effective listening and verbal skills to identify important information and to engage with internal and external customers
