Job Title: Regional Sales Manager
Priority Wire & Cable, a leading supplier of wire and cable in the U.S. and Canada, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager. This is a remote role and will support our electrical utility business and focus on managing and building accounts.
The successful candidate will join a team of Sales Professionals across the United States to help to continue to grow our sales.
Regional Sales Manager Job Responsibilities: Achieves sales and profit goals within your region. Manages accounts and adjusts sales goals and procedures as appropriate. Designs and recommends sales programs and sets short- and long-term sales strategies. Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the region's sales volume. Collects relevant competitors' market information to increase sales volume and market share. Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Assists Marketing and Inside Sales in responses to large and/or long term RFI's and RFQ's. Manage Manufacturer Rep Agencies within region to ensure:
Priority Wire and Cable is a line that is continually growing in importance, sales and revenue. Rep Agencies provide market feedback and intelligence.
Qualifications/Skills:
Comfortable working remote Self-Driven Hands on Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. Team Oriented; Must be able to work with teams, individual contributors, and executives while having the ability to influence, understand and collaborate. Ability to manage and prioritize projects and initiatives. Ability to travel 75% within, and occasionally outside the USA. Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business or business-related discipline. Minimum five years' experience in outside sales and account management. Ability to work with basic computer software (ex. Spreadsheets, Documents etc) Sound understanding of copper and aluminum wire installs and applications. Sound understanding of electrical utility market and demonstrated partnerships. Metallurgy experience or understanding preferred. Physical Requirements:
