Ellis Hotel, a Colwen Hotels Property, is seeking Laundry Attendants with an eye for detail to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for washing, drying, folding linen, and treating stains to minimize loss. You will also work closely with the housekeeping team to supply closets and hotel carts with proper linen for preparing guest rooms.

General Responsibilities: Attend to the cleaning process of hotel linens according to Colwen and brand standards. Wash, dry, and fold hotel linens and terry as well as treating stains to minimize loss. Store, inventory, issue, and distribute hotel linens. Operate washing and drying equipment, load and unload laundry from machines. Measure and administer cleaning agents to laundry according to product specifications. Inspect used laundry for stains and repairs before washing. Monitor feeder information on washer, make sure all drums are full and report any irregularities to supervisor. Set the proper drying and cooling times for various types of linen. Fold laundry. Count and assemble laundered items. Assist in monthly linen inventories. Addressing any public area cleanliness concerns when they need attention. Complete lint and discard log. Maintain orderly and clean linen stock areas. Maintain a clean and organized laundry room. Perform other duties as requested. Requirements:

Proven experience as a cleaner or laundry attendant, hotel experience preferred Detail-oriented and thorough Ability to perform consistent work at the highest standard Ability to work quickly without compromising quality Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant and friendly way Prioritization and time management skills Willingness to work rotational 7-day work cycle; including weekends and holidays We've got you covered: Benefits & Perks
