In short, we build solutions that set the benchmark for steam utilization worldwide.Spirax-Sarco is seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives within the Energy Production sector, with a strong focus on the Oil, Gas, and Chemical industries. This is a high-impact role designed for a driven professional who thrives in a global environment and is passionate about crafting the future of steam and thermal energy solutions.You will be responsible for driving sector-specific strategies, collaborating with global teams, and engaging with key collaborators to unlock growth opportunities. This role offers the outstanding opportunity to influence global direction while being rooted in the energy capital of the world of TX or LA.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement long-term growth strategies for the Energy Production sector, aligned with Spirax-Sarco's global Steam Strategy.Drive commercial success through Customer Value Propositions and meet growth targets set by Corporate Strategy.Collaborate with Business Development and Operating Companies to implement sector-specific initiatives and Commercial Vitality Programs.Conduct customer visits and joint sales calls to identify needs and capture deep Voice of Customer insights.Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products, solutions, and services tailored to the Oil, Gas, and Chemical markets.Lead and encourage international project teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.Demonstrates the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence outcomes without direct reporting lines, optimally collaborating with partners across teams to drive resultsEngage with senior leadership to champion sector initiatives and develop organizational agreement.QualificationsProven experience in the Oil, Gas, or Chemical sectors, ideally within Energy Production or related industrial applications.Strong background in strategy development, business growth, and cross-functional leadership.Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field; advanced degree or MBA is a plus.Highly organized with strong analytical and time management skills.Willingness and ability to travel internationally (30%); valid passport required.Must be based in or willing to be based in the Texas or Louisiana area.Why Join Us?Be part of a global leader in steam and thermal energy solutions.
