About:Location: Akron, OHContract: 6 monthsThe Role:Collaborate with business and development leaders to define project scope, vision, and identify constraints, dependencies, assumptions, risks, and issuesElicit business and user requirements through workshops, meetings, workflow storyboards, user stories, process modeling, competitive analysis, and other methodsTranslate business and user requirements into functional/technical requirements and use cases that are clear and comprehensible to developers, including data mapping, decision tables, and rulesDevelop UX prototypes of interfaces based on user requirementsEvaluate business needs against regulatory, OOTB, and industry standard requirements to determine strategic initiatives and prioritiesIdentify opportunities for process optimization through re-engineering or technology implementationCreate and manage Business Requirement DocumentsWork with stakeholders to prioritize requirements and obtain approvalTrack requirement status throughout the project lifecycleCommunicate requirement changes, enhancements, and modifications to all stakeholders following established processesParticipate in quality peer review processes to ensure requirements meet standards for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, and feasibilityValidate test case coverage of requirements and participate in defect triagePerform quality control and analysis to verify objective completionSupport post-release defect resolution with the development teamDevelop release processes ensuring end-user knowledge transferDrive change and process improvement initiativesEssential Skills:We are seeking a Business Analyst with PLM expertise to partner with product owners and business users.The role involves gathering, defining, and translating business requirements and technical specifications related to 3DEXPERIENCE platform (or similar) development, system integrations, and third-party interfaces. We are looking for a collaborative and critical thinker with experience in engineering, product development, or automotive industry.Excellent verbal and written communication abilitiesStrong organizational and time management capabilitiesAdvanced problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiencesExperience working in Agile environmentsExperience with geographically distributed teams (preferred)Demonstrated ability to work effectively across all organizational levelsCapacity to manage multiple complex projects simultaneouslyProficiency in project management, word processing, and spreadsheet applicationsUnderstanding of internal business partner terminologyProven ability to serve as an effective liaison between business and technical teamsCandidate qualification priority:1. Good Communication need to have engaging conversation with the Business/User community2. PD/Engineering background3. PLM background (3DX preferred)4.
