Client First Technologies is currently seeking a Senior Developer/Programmer to support a contract with our government customer. The Senior Developer/Programmer will be responsible for leading and developing low-code/no-code solutions primarily leveraging MS Power Platform systems. The ideal candidate must possess a background performing tasks to include reviewing and implementing team-wide development best practices, defining systems and data requirements, developing reports and dashboard, assisting with team quality assurance activities for products and solutions, and managing a small development team. This is a full-time position located in Frederick, Maryland.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and communicate with the government customer and team project manager to understand priorities and provide status on projects Provide leadership and direction to team's junior developer/programmer Manage and perform tasks related to developing and modifying web-based applications for business process automation and reporting, using skill and knowledge of application development in a Relational Database Management System / Structured Query Language (SQL) and the Microsoft Power Platform Provide technical leadership to implement and integrate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software into existing architecture Plan, document, code, modify, test and implement solutions leveraging MS Power Platform systems and programs Document test conditions, create test data, test programs, and analyze results Analyze program and production problems Execute programming tasks to include analyzing and designing new or existing system enhancements, working closely with stakeholders to define requirements, writing program specifications, and working on multiple project requests Apply programming and analysis skills with a detailed knowledge of the application Coordinate system testing and assist users with acceptance testing Assist in the development and maintenance of data and process models Assist the project manager to develop work plans and ongoing team planning activities Assist in preparation of reports, briefings, and documentation of deliverables Elicit and document business requirements Prepare technical documentation Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, or a related field preferred Minimum of eight (8) years professional IT experience performing tasks directly related to the Microsoft Power Platform Highly proficient with PowerApps canvas apps and Power Fx Highly proficient with building Power Automate flows Highly proficient with Microsoft 365 platform products and services Must be able to work quickly with a high degree of accuracy with cross-functional teams Experience working in and leading software development teams leveraging a variety of development methodologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications

Relevant certifications from Microsoft highly preferred Experience with GitHub Enterprise or Azure DevOps highly preferred Experience with Tableau and MS SQL Server highly preferred Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs? Physical Demands
