Position Highlights:

Seeking an experienced NP or PA for ICU coverage

  • Minimum 4+ consecutive shifts required per assignment

  • Weekend-only availability is acceptable

  • Active Illinois license is required

  • ICU currently has 14 beds with future expansion planned

  • Work closely with physicians, APPs, and an e-ICU team

Schedule & Shift Details:

  • 12-hour shifts (days/nights)

  • Available shifts: Sunday through Saturday

  • Rounds conducted at 10 AM and 10 PM

  • Patient load: 5-10 patients per shift

Responsibilities & Procedures:

  • Deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients

  • Participate in interdisciplinary ICU rounds

  • Perform critical care procedures:

  • Central Venous Catheter (CVC) placement

  • Arterial line placement

  • Hemodialysis (HD) line placement

  • Intubations (optional, based on skill and comfort)
