Position: Physician Assistant - Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine Experience Preferred

Location: Manhattan, New York

Schedule: Flexible - Full-Time or Part-Time (3 Days/Week Available) About the Opportunity

With flexible scheduling options -including full-time and part-time availability (3 days/week)-this role is ideal for professionals seeking meaningful clinical work in a supportive and efficient setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and manage a wide range of non-emergent and urgent medical conditions

  • Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound care, and incision & drainage

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging

  • Prescribe appropriate medications and coordinate patient follow-up

  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and preventive care

  • Document patient encounters accurately and promptly using EMR

  • Collaborate closely with physicians and other clinical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted New York State Physician Assistant license

  • NCCPA Certification

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred

  • Skilled in urgent care procedures

  • Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills

  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
