DriveTime, the largest privately owned used car sales finance and servicing company in the US, is seeking an Assistant Director of Data Science. You will lead a team of Data Scientists to develop advanced analytical solutions, including predictive analytics and machine learning, to support strategic insights and business solutions. Responsibilities:
Advise Senior Leadership on developing data science solutions to enhance business strategies. Oversee creation of machine learning models from design to deployment. Maintain relationships with academic and industry thought leaders. Collaborate with analytical leaders to explore data, research emerging technologies, and execute strategic projects. Partner with enterprise analytical and IT teams to build core capabilities. Identify resource needs including IT investments and support. Understand business environment to recommend solutions influencing decision-makers. Design and construct large, complex data sets for analytical solutions. Build and lead a high-performing team of data science experts. Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or related STEM field, or 6+ years of related experience. 6+ years experience in predictive modeling and data analysis. At least 1 year of direct management experience. Experience with stochastic modeling, machine learning, neural nets, simulation, graph analysis. Proven ability to communicate results to executives. Experience with statistical modeling, A/B testing, marketing attribution. Knowledge of TV attribution, MMM, MTA. Experience analyzing paid search campaigns and attribution modeling. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong business acumen and customer focus. Creative problem solving and intellectual curiosity. Company:
