Job Description:
In this role you will serve as a mix between an Agile leader for the team and a product manager for the wider project within the Pilot Records team. You will facilitate and guide an agile team fostering continuous improvement ensuring transparency in progress and impediments. You will create visibility by communicating remaining work risks and dependencies while supporting the team in delivering value incrementally and improving team cohesiveness. By collaborating closely with the Pilot Records Sr. Manager you will help align multiple initiatives with overall business objectives. Key responsibilities include facilitating the case study for a new Pilot Records system. You will empower the team to self-organize remove obstacles and optimize their workflow across three applications ensuring adaptability and responsiveness to changing business needs.
Project Responsibilities:
Maintains project roadmaps with key milestones and delivery dates communicating progress to senior management and across teams Facilitates Scrum events and cross-functional meetings fostering a culture of trust accountability and continuous improvement Manages backlog prioritization balancing stakeholder needs with technical requirements and business objectives Guides the team in implementing Scrum values principles and effective technical practices Proactively manages stakeholder expectations communicating changes and project impacts effectively Builds strong relationships with stakeholders to foster collaboration and alignment Ensure proper documentation is maintained in relevant systems e.g. Confluence Lucid Tracks and reports on customer usage satisfaction and engagement metrics Partners with Senior Manager to define Non-Functional Requirements for work in progress
Program Management:
This role combines traditional project management responsibilities with Agile leadership to drive team success and deliver business value. Manages stakeholder expectations through visual updates tracking progress risks and dependencies while driving governance communications with leadership Oversees project milestones delivery timelines budgets and forecasts while facilitating agile ceremonies and team collaboration Coordinates funding requests business cases and implementation plans across environments QA staging prod Facilitates team self-organization and empowerment while establishing Working Agreements and Definition of Done Implements Agile/Scrum principles effectively while adapting practices to fit team context and needs - Drives continuous improvement through metrics analysis and data-driven retrospectives Manages program risks and dependencies while validating project scope and assumptions - Coordinates with various stakeholders to ensure alignment on deliverables and timelines
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong understanding of agile best practices as well as resource allocation and capacity allocations Ability to form strong partnerships with cross-functional/related teams aligned with main project goals \Ability to manage project plans provide governance updates and collaborate well with other cross-functional groups Excellent communication and team motivation skills Experience identifying and resolving complex problems using technology to solve Experience working with Crew scheduling process and applications 5-10 years in agile Technology Management Consulting and/or program management
