What You’ll Be Responsible For
As Vice President, Ecosystem Marketing & Developer Relations, you will lead a global strategy to grow, engage, and empower developers building on Circle’s platform. You will collaborate across Product, Engineering, Growth, and Communications teams to build an inclusive developer ecosystem that drives adoption of Circle’s technologies. Your role involves defining strategies, designing programs, building communities, leading teams, and delivering measurable results.
This role aims to support a diverse range of builders—from Web3 native engineers to Web2 fintech developers—ensuring they find a welcoming and empowering environment within the Circle ecosystem.
What You'll Work On
Develop and execute a global, multi-segment strategy to attract, activate, and retain developers.
Build and lead a high-impact team across Developer Marketing, Developer Relations, and Community, integrating storytelling, technical enablement, and engagement.
Launch developer-focused initiatives such as product launches, technical content, events, and digital campaigns.
Manage the developer funnel from awareness to community contribution, partnering with Product, Data, and Growth teams to measure success.
Represent Circle at technical conferences, media events, and online channels to enhance visibility.
Drive presence in global developer ecosystems, emphasizing regional community building, hackathons, and strategic partnerships, especially in emerging markets.
Ensure the developer experience is inclusive and welcoming for builders across backgrounds and geographies.
Support go-to-market efforts with partners like wallets, exchanges, and infra providers.
Inspire developers to build innovative use cases across payments, DeFi, and financial infrastructure.
Contribute to the overall marketing strategy and culture as a senior leader, championing developer success as a priority.
What You'll Bring To Circle
15+ years in developer marketing, developer relations, or ecosystem-focused product marketing.
Proven success in scaling global developer communities, especially in crypto, fintech, cloud, or developer tools.
Technical fluency in APIs, smart contracts, blockchain, or web infrastructure; engineering background preferred.
Experience with Ethereum, Solana, Base, L2, stablecoins, or DeFi platforms.
Leadership experience in fast-paced, product-led environments with a bias for action.
Strong team-building, talent development, and organizational skills, with experience managing distributed teams.
Deep empathy for developers and excellent storytelling and communication skills.
Passion for Circle’s mission to increase global prosperity through programmable internet money.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience in multi-region developer community development, especially in LATAM, Africa, or Southeast Asia.
Circle is committed to creating an inclusive financial future. Compensation is determined by experience, skills, and organizational needs. The base pay range is $270,000 - $310,000.
