Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the marketing strategy for assigned brands. Direct the development of subsequent marketing objectives per product line and region to ensure alignment.
Provide up-to-date and accessible communication channels (e.g., web, apps, print and digital content) internally and externally to allow easy access to relevant information.
Review data gathered via analytics and other sources to ensure that messaging goals are being met.
Prioritize all projects to ensure that work efforts provide maximum positive impact to NOV.
Establish scheduled sessions with leadership and technical and sales SMEs to review, assess, and revise the content strategy as needed.
Ensure all marketing initiatives are relevant and meaningful to the target audience, according to market segment and/or locale, by working with appropriate SMEs up-front and conducting reviews to measure the effectiveness of deliverables. This includes providing content in the appropriate language(s).
Ensure brand consistency, including visual identity and messaging.
Project management for the development of marketing assets, including development (requested/managed through corporate project management system), proper storage, and distribution of all marketing collateral for the brand.
Audit competitor content to stay abreast of industry trends.
Understand target markets and customers and their needs and drivers.
Enhance internal and external perceptions of assigned brands through PR and advertising efforts (sponsorships, editorials, white papers, etc.).
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with leadership in all functional groups to ensure alignment. Collaborate with product line and sales leadership to ensure maximum penetration of market segments.
Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities including but not limited to print, online, electronic media, social media, and direct mail.
Work with the legal team to register trademarks as applicable. Maintain a library of trademark specimens for renewal. Also store copies of trademark certificates as they are awarded.
Oversee the launch of new products and solutions aimed at current and new market segments.
Plan, control, and measure marketing budget to ensure expenses align with annual objectives.
Manage social media channels for the brand.
Comply with all NOV company and HSE procedures.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
5+ years product marketing, or holding similar responsibilities such as Brand Management, Communications, or other related experience.
BA in Marketing or related field.
Excellent Verbal And Nonverbal Communication Skills Required.
Ability to present to audiences at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required
Outstanding collaboration and problem-solving skills. Asks good questions to get to the root cause or to analyze the need.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
