Ab Initio Lead Administrator
Location - Hybrid - onsite in Reston, VA, or DC office as needed (Preference is for local candidates in the DMV+WV area) Duration - 6 Months CTH Interview Process - 2 round video interview
Job Description
Project Summary Client is looking for an Ab Initio Lead Administrator responsible for leading all the tasks involved in administering Ab-Initio in the Cloud, including required hands-on work. The resource will support the implementation of a Data Integration/Data Warehouse for the Data products in CDP Private Cloud (on-prem) and in CDP Public Cloud (AWS.)
Essential functions This resource must be knowledgeable in the end-to-end process, able to act as an SME, provide credible feedback and input in all impacted areas, and guide junior resources. 90% of their ETL footprint is on Ab Initio.
Must have skills • 13+ years of experience as an Ab Initio administrator. • Experience leading a team of junior or mid-level resources providing mentoring/coaching. • Experience working on NoSQL databases (HBase, Hive, Cassandra, MongoDB, Oracle NoSQL, Amazon DynamoDB, etc.) • Experience with AWS technologies such as (S3, EC2, ECS, etc.) • Experience with Unix and Linux, along with Shell scripting experience • Experience with automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Jenkins, AWS CloudFormation, Kubernetes, etc. (Preference is Ansible)
Nice to Have Skills • utomation experience using Ansible • Experience working within the Cloudera environment.
