We are seeking a highly skilled
Staff Electrical Engineer
to lead the development of electrical hardware for advanced robotic medical devices. This role will involve hands-on design work as well as collaboration with embedded systems and mechanical engineering teams to solve complex, real-world engineering problems. You will also help shape the overall architecture and direction of the electrical system. Key Responsibilities: Design electronic hardware for complex robotic systems Collaborate with mechanical engineers on PCBA physical layout Support embedded team with processing and sensing requirements Select components, perform schematic capture, and board layout using
Altium Develop and maintain assembly and test equipment Perform board-level reliability assessments and diagnostics Conduct testing and create documentation for hardware systems Provide technical leadership and guidance to product and technology teams Define, manage, and track project goals, timelines, and deliverables Recommend and implement design improvements as needed Set strategic direction for electrical system development Mentor junior engineers and lead technical teams toward successful project execution Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred) 8+ years
of experience in electrical/electronics hardware design Experience in designing
medical devices , especially to
IEC 60601
standards Proficiency in
Altium Designer
and PLM tools Hands-on experience with
flex circuits , PCB technologies, and board layout Strong understanding of interfaces such as
SPI, I2C, USB, MIPI, and Ethernet Experience with
inductive sensing , high-speed sampling, switching power supplies,
BLDC motors , and analog/digital conversion Knowledge of
EMC, EMI, and ESD
mitigation techniques Experience in designing for test (DFT) and developing test fixtures for manufacturing Seniority level
