Freelance / Contract · CHI / NYC preferred, Remote optional.
We’re looking for a social-first strategist.
To start, you’ll own creative ideation and scripting for 15–25 posts/month — from trends and POVs to transitions and visual storytelling — all grounded in a modern brand tone. The ideal candidate would be driven, and work towards a cross-functional position working with multiple brands.
What you’ll do:
- Write hooks, outlines, and visual direction
- Collaborate with creative director, producer, and talent
- Stay on top of trends and evolve creative accordingly
- Join monthly recaps to share creative learnings
- Track TikTok trends, sounds, and formats weekly
- Develop creative briefs that guide content direction
- Partner with the Creative Lead on monthly planning
- Identify whitespace opportunities for future content
- Analyze and document performance and present key learnings
What you bring:
- 3+ years in social/content strategy, creative direction, or digital storytelling
- Deep understanding of TikTok/Instagram culture, pacing, and style
- A portfolio showing originality and platform fluency
- Bonus: copywriting or directing experience
