Responsibilities

Provides strategic leadership on all aspects of people management while modeling our leadership principles. Cultivates an environment where people are empowered to grow, take initiative, and succeed through clear direction, continuous coaching, and shared celebration. Develops, implements, and maintains agreed portfolio of data management processes. Maintains awareness of the cost impact of actions. Supports the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, and/or decommissioning options. Provides divisional/cost center budget submission, management, and accountability. Leads, develops, and manages portfolio of bank collaboration, eDelivery, database, and business intelligence platforms and teams. Establishes data management Service Levels (SLA’s) and Organizational Level Agreements (OLA’s) with relevant Technology Application Owner(s). Ensures project and service requests are within agreed cost, schedule, and scope. Contributes in leadership discussions to the definition and refinement of IT strategies and roadmaps and supports development and maintenance of departmental roadmaps. Conducts reviews of solution architectures. Establishes and maintains effective vendor relationships to achieve timely incident resolution, problem management, and project outcomes, including appropriate escalations. Provides leadership of permanent, contractor, and outsourced/offshore staff, including resource optimization, supply and demand planning, performance management, team building, staff engagement, upskilling, and downsizing. Ensures compliance management, including coordination with external and internal regulators and alignment of processes/procedures to achieve risk, audit, and incident management targets. Reports and/or escalate any incidents or events in violation of compliance or which could adversely impact the company’s integrity, operations, or reputation. Provides timely responses to external and internal audit requests for assistance. Collaborates effectively with supporting departments and teams. Contributes positively to team, department, and organizational morale and environment. Demonstrates customer service focus by not only providing good service and considering the effect of all actions on internal and external customer service but always looking for ways to improve service. Performs miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 10 years of experience related to IT management, including infrastructure and/or application management teams’ responsibility for oversight, management, and communication of complex technical programs. Banking/financial industry or related field preferred. Should have minimum of 3 years of experience managing teams with data management responsibilities and minimum of 3 years of effective project management experience. Demonstrated proficiency and expertise with personal computers in a networked environment and Microsoft Office applications or similar software. Possess analytical skills, knowledgeable of systems architecture, and awareness of new approaches and techniques in the data processing industry. Possess knowledge of or ability to use Bank software and systems. Strong oral, written, and analytical skills with effective interpersonal and collaborative leadership abilities. Skilled in conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving. Comfortable with ambiguity and learning new skills outside of the comfort zone. Adaptable in fast-paced environments with shifting responsibilities. Technically creative, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently. Solid understanding of IT concepts. to Able to work flexible hours, including holidays, weekends, and evenings as needed.
