Lead Business Analyst

The Home Depot Position Purpose Decision Analytics associates produce insights that answer key enterprise questions around budget, priorities, courses of action, and important decisions. They develop frameworks for analysis by identifying the right metrics for consistent, effective insights that drive business outcomes. Decision Analytics associates are skilled in advanced analytics and analytical tools and languages such as GCP Big Query, Python, R, SQL, Jupyter Notebook, Adobe Analytics, and Tableau. While they may support model development and AI/ML work, they are primarily focused on internal business insights (business intelligence). They possess the domain expertise to understand the businesses they support with their analysis. Key Responsibilities Leverage extensive business knowledge into solution approaches and develop trust and collaboration with internal customers and cross-functional teams. Lead and manage large and complex projects and teams, providing direction on prioritization and ensuring quality of work. Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, driving alignment and implementation. Guide project teams in requirements gathering, design, and development of complex applications, and promote analytics maturity within teams. Other Details This position reports to the Senior Manager or above and has no direct reports. Travel typically requires 5-20% overnight travel. Work is performed in a comfortable indoor environment. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18+ and legally permitted to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in a quantitative field. Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Python, R, SQL, Tableau, and data visualization. Ability to produce statistical analyses and develop KPI frameworks.
