The IFRS 2.0 project team is responsible for implementing IFRS 18 accounting standard, issued April 2024, within the company. We are seeking a dedicated technical accounting representative to join our team and perform a critical role as we move into phase 2 of our project. This phase will focus on updating the budget, forecast, and MRP process, along with other requirements on Chart of Accounts and disclosures from company group Tokyo. This role will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with IFRS regulations, enhance financial processes, and maintain internal controls. Responsibilities
Collaborate with the IFRS 2.0 project team to ensure compliance with IFRS 18 requirements. Participate in project ceremonies like standups, demos, retrospectives. Serve as the technical accounting representative, understanding IFRS requirements, communicating with stakeholders, and preparing documentation. Assess current practices, identify gaps, and educate finance personnel on IFRS compliance. Update processes, controls, and documentation to align with new requirements. Experience/Skillset
Research and documentation of IFRS guidance. Financial reporting, process, and controls experience. Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel). Self-motivated team player. Nice to have
Entertainment industry exposure. Experience with IFRS. Agile/Scrum exposure. SAP/BW/S4 HANA systems knowledge. Education
B.S./B.A. in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Economics. C.P.A. or equivalent (not required). Additional Information
