Base pay range
$55.00/hr - $73.00/hr We have an exciting client looking to add a skilled Senior Network Consultant to their team to help with route/switch and firewall engineering work for a large client. We are seeking someone with a background in Cisco ISE and extensive firewall engineering & architecture level experience in Cisco network environments. Our client is a regional tech consulting organization with well-established clients, incredible reputation in the industry and offers lots of growth opportunities. This is a contract to hire role with a ~3 month contract portion prior to conversion that will be mostly remote with about 1 day per week on-site in the Nashville, TN area. Target compensation for the role will be around $55.00 - $73.00 per hour on contract and $120,000 - $150,000 annual salary + bonus upon conversion. Job Responsibilities for the Senior Network Consultant job: Documents, maintains, and communicates client network and network security requirements and architecture. Assist the consulting manager to scope network opportunities of all types and create Statements of Work. Develops forward thinking models that support IT strategy and architecture. Develops, recommends, and supports a migration strategy to move from the current technical platforms to the future technical architecture. Consults in the design or selection of new systems and technical infrastructure projects. Job Qualifications for the Senior Network Consultant job: 10 - 15 years’ experience architecting, designing, and deploying wired and wireless networks and network security solutions, ideally with a special emphasis (hardware and software) on as many as possible of the following vendors: Aruba, Fortinet, Arista, Palo Alto, Cisco 3+ years of experience with Cisco ISE and Cisco DNA or Cisco Catalyst Experience with unified threat management solutions including firewalls, VPN, IDS, IPS, URL filtering, anti-virus, etc. using physical, virtual, and cloud-based solutions. Experience configuring LAN, WAN, wireless solutions by Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Fortinet, etc. Employment Type : Contract to Hire, ~3 month contract portion prior to conversion that will be mostly remote with about 1 day per week on-site in the Nashville, TN area.
