Managing\nVeterinarian
to lead our team at The Paw Patch Place!
\n The Paw Patch Place is an established, busy, high-quality\npractice that caters to each client and patient on an individual basis. We have\nan amazing clientele and experienced staff that allows us to practice good\nquality medicine. We strive for quality medicine and surgery in a warm,\nfriendly, family atmosphere. We practice gentle restraint and fear free\ntechniques which reduce the clients, patients and staff stress. All of our\nveterinarians and veterinarian technicians are Fear Free certified, and we are\nalso a Cat Friendly practice.

veterinarian to lead our incredible team.

Fully\n equipped with state-of-the-art IDEXX in house laboratory equipment,\n digital dental radiography, and digital radiography. \n

About the role: The Managing Veterinarian is responsible for providing\nmedical leadership for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and\nassuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of
veterinary\nmedicine.
The Managing Veterinarian is also responsible for creating\nan environment of teamwork in which quality medicine is delivered. In partnership with the Hospital Manager, the
Managing\nVeterinarian
is responsible for the financial performance of the
hospital,\npreparing
operating and capital budgets, and meeting budget expectations. In\naddition, the Hospital Manager and Managing Veterinarian are responsible for\ndirecting staff and the overall management of the practice, under the direction\nof NVA Divisional Leadership. \n

Skills and Basic Qualifications: \n
Candidate\n must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully\n passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification\n program \n
Licensure\n in good standing to practice in the state in which the applicant is to be\n employed \n
Excellent\n verbal and written communication skills \n
A\n commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding\n the veterinary code of ethics \n
The\n ability to delegate responsibility and achieve results with hospital team\n members \n
Capable\n of quality decision making \n
The\n ability to coach, correct, develop, and motivate employees \n
Demonstrates\n excellent time and task management \n
Demonstrates\n professional and courteous presentation with staff and clients \n \n \n
