anesthetic equipment and supplies; perform equipment checks ensuring operational readinessConduct and document pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations, including consult requests and diagnostic studiesSelect, order, or administer pre-anesthetic medications and fluidsObtain informed consent for anesthesia proceduresDevelop and implement individualized anesthetic plans collaboratively with the care teamAdminister and maintain general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC)Select and manage non-invasive and invasive monitoring modalitiesPerform venipunctures, invasive line insertions, epidural catheter placements, and administer spinal
anesthesia/analgesiaManage
airways and monitor pulmonary statusProvide patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and discharge patients from PACU and Ambulatory Surgery Unit (ASU)Order and manage post-anesthesia analgesia and antiemetic therapyDeliver emergency airway management and support as neededProvide anesthesia services to all age groups from pediatrics to
geriatricsQualifications:Current
RN licensure in the State of MaineCurrent Advanced Practice Nurse License from the State of MaineCertified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)Current ACLS and BLS
