Ripton is the world’s premier performance denim company, blending artful and often streetwear inspired design, authentic outdoor utility & grit, and an irreverent spirit into everything we do. Based in Boulder, Colorado, we’re a fast-growing, founder-led company with big ambitions: to reinvent outdoor apparel from the bottom up and build a brand that resonates globally.
As the Product Designer for Ripton, you will play a pivotal role in defining what it means to be performance denim. The fabric, features, and fit all need to have a reason to be — and position Ripton as the go-to denim for active lifestyles.
Who You Are:
You’re a needle in the haystack — with a passion for both denim and getting after it on your bike. You don’t question the idea of riding, skiing, or climbing in denim — you

Lead exclusive capsules, off-calendar initiatives, and category expansion with a strong POV and attention to execution. Desired Skills and Experience: Experience with denim — fabric, washes, and fits Experience with CLO3D or similar software (a plus) Experience fitting on a live model Pattern knowledge and the ability to balance patterns Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Role and Responsibilities: Bachelor’s degree in Apparel, Product Design, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in the apparel industry 1-2+ years specifically in denim Strong knowledge of garment construction, patterning, and testing protocols Excellent organization and time-management skills with a sharp attention to detail Effective written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working in a team and building trust with both internal teams and vendor partners Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Adobe Illustrator, Google Workspace, and PLM systems Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment Why join Ripton We’re not just building a brand — we’re building a movement.
