They guide prospects from identifying needs to matching them with the perfect apartment, thereby creating better living experiences. We seek dynamic, high-performing salespeople with positive energy, an entrepreneurial spirit, and excellent sales and customer service skills. As an individual contributor, the Leasing Associate is driven to close deals and maintain professionalism, often serving as the first impression of the Fairfield brand. Success in this role can lead to promotion to Assistant Community Manager, with room for growth within the team.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO IN THIS ROLE : CUSTOMER SERVICE & SALES
Be the first point of contact for prospective residents, current residents, vendors, and Fairfield associates.
Drive the lease closing process by highlighting community features and amenities.
Assess customer needs, resolve issues, or escalate as necessary.
Use your friendly personality to diffuse difficult situations and nurture relationships.
Provide exceptional service to exceed resident expectations and retain residents.
Achieve sales goals, leasing ratios, and milestones in customer service and satisfaction.
OPERATIONS
Manage lease files, maintain necessary paperwork, and update computer systems.
Utilize Yardi software to manage the leasing process.
MARKETING
Perform marketing and advertising tasks, including updating social media.
Stay informed about local market conditions and monitor competitors.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED DAY ONE :
Minimum one year of experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
Experience or knowledge in leasing or real estate is a plus.
Strong typing and intermediate skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to close sales is preferred.
Knowledge of tax credit, fair housing, and trade practices is a plus.
Experience with Yardi or similar property management software is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
Compensation : Estimated hourly rate: $18.36 - $21.76. This position is non-exempt, and the pay range reflects hourly wages. The actual offer may vary based on skills, education, and experience.
