Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) , a student loan repayment program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. The award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants are ineligible to apply. The incumbent will be the clinical case manager for a caseload of Veterans admitted into the HUD-VASH program, working with a multi-disciplinary team to assist the Veteran in securing and maintaining permanent housing. Responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, maintaining documentation, and ensuring interventions adhere to the treatment plan. Duties also involve providing case management, psychosocial support, and acting as an advocate for Veterans and their families. The position requires working face-to-face with Veterans in their residences or other settings, with a schedule of full-time, Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm, or as determined by the hiring manager. Qualifications include a master's degree in social work from an accredited school, licensure at the independent practice level for GS-11, and proficiency in English. Experience requirements vary by grade: GS-9 is entry-level; GS-11 requires one year of post-MSW experience and licensure. Additional duties include assessing and addressing abuse, neglect, or exploitation, providing counseling, and collaborating with community resources. The full performance level is GS-11, but applicants may be considered at GS-9 or GS-11 based on experience and qualifications. Other requirements include U.S. citizenship, valid California driver's license, background/security investigation, and compliance with health and vaccination policies. A transcript is required if qualifications are based on education. The position is in the Excepted Service, non-competitive, and may be filled multiple times. Physical demands and environmental factors will be addressed during pre-employment evaluation. Benefits include comprehensive federal employment packages.
