We’d love to tell you more about working at Epic! The Manager, Direct Marketing Print Production, role is a terrific opportunity to develop or grow as a direct marketer. The individual who fills this rolewill become an integral member of the team, working across Marketing to support multiple client programs and Epic initiatives, including engagement with internal stakeholders, to help drive business success.The new position will support the planning and execution of on-time, quality print production across direct mail and commercial print programs for multiple clients and products. The ideal candidate will have an aptitude for tactical execution and strategic thought, attention to detail, strong abilities with both numbers and writing, and comfort working with (or learning about) a number of products across a diverse set of clients and industries. Epic Research believes in hiring motivated individuals who are smart, driven, and collaborative. The role will be based in our Wilmington, Delaware headquarters with a hybrid work schedule. Overall Responsibilities ·Support direct print production planning and execution across multiple clients and products ·Update and adjust campaign execution timelines in accordance with SLAs and campaign targets ·Actively participate in internal production meetings with Epic program managers and the Director, Direct Marketing Production & Creative ·Actively participate in external status calls and meetings with production suppliers and clients ·Gather, confirm, and communicate accurate print production specifications and requirements to production suppliers and other stakeholders ·Review production audits for accuracy of content, data, specifications, and branding requirements, coordinating client reviews through Epic program managers ·Assist with estimating print production and postage costs for each campaign ·Review print production supplier invoices and support comparing actual costs to campaign estimates for use in ongoing estimate refinement ·Attend onsite and virtual press checks as needed ·Oversee campaign setup and approval for USPS postal discount programs, monitor mail delivery timing, and gather/audit required campaign drop reporting and postal receipts ·Support annual print production RFPs and, as needed, more frequent bids for new formats ·Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in direct print marketing, incorporating innovative ideas into campaigns ·Other related activities as assigned Desirable Skill Set ·Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills to aid in auditing complex production outputs Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously and juggle diverse tasks ·Ability to prepare and digest detailed and accurate cost estimates and calculations ·Understanding of direct marketing principles ·Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with pressing deadlines ·Affable personality with strong historyof effective relationship building skills and collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Google Sheets; Adobe Acrobat; and Outlook Knowledge of design software and print production processes and materials 2-5 years in print production, direct mail, or marketing project management ·B.S. or B.A.degree (Marketing, Business or Communications degrees preferred) Seniority level
